The township finally came to fix the rain ditch today.  They removed the tree stump and the big part of the tree Cary didn't have time to cut up.  I was hoping to get a lumber mill to pick-up the tree and cut it into planks for me, but the township wouldn't cut the tree from the stump.  Either they take the whole thing or left it all for us to handle.  Cary took the easy root and just had them take it. 

The neighbor still has a big part of his tree so I'm going to see if I can get his tree.  

That's about it for now.   

Well we made it back from Vegas not too much poorer.

We stayed at the Planet Hollywood. Not too bad. Casino isnt to much to see but the room was nicely redone. We got upgraded because we called to the front desk and asked to be moved. The original room was buy the elevator and the ice machine. They didn't have any like rooms so they gave us a free upgrade. We got a nice mountain view instead of the strip construction view we originally had.

We went to see Cique De Solie's show KA good show. More of a story line then what you get with the other Cirque shows. The production was pretty neat the stage I assume was on hydraulics and could move all around and become vertical which added to the show.

We also did a tour of all the free strawberry daquires from the casinos. I preferred the Wynn but I think Beth liked the Mirage better.

Well the phone works pretty good at posting on this blog. But, I have a facebook account so I will be posting to there too.

Hey, I finished up a class that was eating into my time. I will now be able to work on the site and get it up again. Look for changes coming soon.

Just wondering if anyone is coming out this way this summer?  Diep and I are taking a weekend road trip to Dieu's place next weekend (6/6-6/9).  Cary has some weekend trips planned and we'll probably take a long weekend off this summer together as well.

Henry, let me know if you are coming out to see mom so I know if I need to plan on a trip to the airport.

Today, Sunday April 23rd Mom and Minh are at my house.  Mom's a little under the weather.  Minh will probably be heading back to Canada in the next couple days.

I think we'll be coming out on Monday.  Mom is having a GI track scope Friday, April 4th so I'll be in Delaware to take her to the doctor's office.  Depending on how she's feeling I'll be coming home Saturday or Sunday.  Right now Mom isn't expecting to come to Ohio with us.  She'll know better after the GI.

Hey this is what Beth made for dinner tonight. It was pretty good. We were going to have Pho but started too late. We went to the asian market yesterday and got ALOT of bok choy so we may be trying this again.  The real reason for the post is I am using Windows Live Writer. I just want to see how it works.  Its pretty easy so far.

As you can tell there has been some major changes to the website.

The new look is my stab at blogging. Its funny I have never been a "Blogger" but I am using a new blog engine that was written in .NET so I will have a chance to look at how the pros do things and I might spice it up a little with my own stuff. If you want to try your hand you can find more info at http://www.dotnetblogengine.net/. There will be  a lot of changes when I get time to mess with the code and themes. I will be using a new gallery maker for pictures and movies.

The content of this site will vary based on what I am into.  I plan on adding content on home projects, where to take the kid on the cold winter days, .NET code snippets, where I am currently losing money in the stock market, music and of course the infamous more.

Right now the site is locked to comments unless you are logged in and to view video and pictures you need a password.  Right now I will need to set up an account for you until I right a widget for that.  Soooo, just e-mail me and I can set you up. I think that is good for the first post.
